I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor. I trained in Newcastle-upon-Tyne at the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy and Counselling (accredited by UKCP). Apart from holding the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I also completed a One year course at Leeds Metropolitan University under Robin and Jane Walford and have a Certificate in Transactional Analysis.
For 10 years I have been working with Bereavement Care, now The Herriot Hospice, a Northallerton based Charity as a volunteer counsellor. I worked at an NHS GP practice in Middlesborough receiving many varied referrals before setting up my own private practice in North Yorkshire in 2011.
I am CRB checked and have professional insurance cover.

I’ve been working on Zoom a lot over the last two years and have found it to be just as beneficial as face-to-face meetings, it also allows more flexibility for clients.
I also see clients in person at the below locations, Yorkshire being my main base.
